Pretty much anything is better than Alien³.

When Fox was getting ready to release it, they invited the press to a bookers screening, because they were too cheap to have separate private screenings. And they knew it was going to perform dreadfully.

Event Horizon. A great film that is often overlooked. It terrified me when I first saw it in 2002 late one school night on TV (BBC1 I think). I enjoy Alien 3 as well though.

Say what you will about Paul WS Anderson as a director, but Event Horizon blows Alien 3 out of the water, hands down.
