I NEED The English Patient, Shakespeare in Love, & The Girl Next Door(2004). The first 2 were critically acclaimed. The cinematography in The English Patient demands to be upgraded to 4K Dolby Vision/HDR10. I watched in HD & besides the CGI of the distant incoming sandstorm, the film has some of the best cinematography I’ve seen. Absolutely beautifully shot. It was shot on 35mm, so 4K won’t be a problem and since it won like 9 Oscars, I’m dumbfounded why it’s been 10 years since 4K TVs came out as to why this has not been upgraded. It’s much better than the film that copied its emotional arc the following year- Titanic😳🙄. Next is 2004 The Girl Next Door w/Elisha Cuthbert. It’s basically a B movie but was shot on 35mm & Elisha Cuthbert is probably the most beautiful woman shot on film in it…or tied w/Jessica Alba in Sin City. I’m really getting salty AF about English Parient tgough cuz Titanic is a piece of garbage compared to English Patient, yet Titanic is getting 4K release. If the cheesiest, dumbest film of the 90s gets a 4K release-Forest Gump, then English Patient deserves to finally and immediately get a 4K date.
