Default The Toys That Made Us

Who else has watched this one?

I have the first 8 episodes("seasons 1-2"), have yet to see the last four.

Does anyone know if they will ever make any more?

Well the last season was in 2019, looks like we will not be getting more. I was so hoping to see Jem and The Holograms, Smurfs, Thundercats, Voltron, etc.

Watched it when it first came out, loved it. My favorite episode was the He Man one, but even the Barbie one was pretty good and had some surprising facts.

The TMNT episode was enlightening.

I remember when it was a comic shop only b&w zine w/ a cult following.
I like how they explained how it changed for the animated series years later.

The Hello Kitty episode is hilarious. They even change the title credits to accommodate it.

Voltron would have been great! I had the big robot that broke down into the individual "cats" and fit the action figures. I took it show and tell. I didn't have the action figures but my neighbor did. They also had the castle and, I think, the smaller scale die-cast model. So cool!

Was the Voltron toys as ubiquitous as the Transformers and TNMT?

I recall it being a little bit more expensive than the usual Toys R Us stuff.

I remember the Voltron toy was expensive, at least the die cast metal one anyway.

Loved all of these. Found them all interesting, but, I was all about He-man, Thundercats, & wrestling figures as a youngin'.

It's one of the things I like about the internet, you get to find out about all kinds of movies, shows, video games, books, etc. you would have never known about.

The creator of this show is busy with The Movies That Made Us. I would love more seasons but it has been 3 years since the 3rd season ended so I am not going to get my hopes up.
