so it looks like no advanced audio over analogue. Will they offer an update to allow the new audio over analogue? Any info on an update for this? |

Huh, all the advanced audio for movies are Digital not analogue. No DVD movie suports analog sound, Blu-ray is no diffrent, It's the player that decodes the 6 channel digial PCM outputs to 6ch audio to your reciever.
Your better off hooking it up via coaxil or optical to a 5.1 Home Theatre. But if you want uncompressed audio you either output PCM via HDMI, decode it to 6ch analogue, or PCM over coaxil. |
