Awesome movie. Hope its an upgrade from the Mill Creek transfer on that double feature with The Puppet Masters.

Great news! I own that release ^ and while surprisingly decent (picture is good, not amazing, audio was very good), it could definitely do with a new remaster and transfer.

Extras and packaging sound nice. Will definitely get it if the quality is an improvement. Underrated horror/creature/comedy IMO.

This is literally THE best news I've heard in a long time!

I always thought the DVD was one of the better transfers for the format even though it was non-anamorphic. This should easily blow even the recent BD away.

I have the old release of the Blu-ray but i believe that it could us an upgrade might get this and get rid of the other one when this is out.

Awesome, i saw this in theaters as a teen and enjoyed it since.

Reminds me of fun films like Leviathan and Deepstar Six on a boat and i can't wait to throw my DVD in the trash to get this.

I look forward to this. I'm surprised though that there isn't an interview with Treat Williams. He seems like a fan of the film.

Treat Williams: Fun. Just fun. I loved that movie. Just six months of freezing cold water up in Vancouver, Canada. [Laughs.] But a great cast, some of whom have become very big movie stars since then, and a wonderful director with a great mind, Stephen Sommers. Just a really terrific, great guy.
