Default No Blu-ray.com reviews for two out of five MGM 90th remastered titles

The following Blu-ray titles in which two of the five films were remastered as part of the MGM 90th anniversary have not received Blu-ray.com reviews for six years:

However, both of the previous Blu-ray editions were already reviewed, but they used older transfers:

On the other hand, two out of three other MGM 90th anniversary remastered titles have already received their own Blu-ray.com reviews. These films are:

Not to mention Kino Lorber's 2017 Blu-ray edition of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, there is no separate review for the 2014 remastered edition of that title (while MGM still had a deal with former film distributor 20th Century Fox, now 20th Century Studios), but its Blu-ray bundle has an individual Blu-ray.com review here:

Why did you bump this? Like, what exactly are you after with this thread? Do you want them to review those two titles? If so, maybe send a PM to one of the reviewers or site admins asking them to do so, or if you are after PQ comparisons you can check them out at caps-a-holic.

There are too many forum posts that appear most recently under Latest Blu-ray Forum Posts > Blu-ray Movies USA at this site's main page. Well, because I edited to change wording on my original post. Yes, I really want one of the site's staff to review both MGM newly remastered films Rocky and Rain Man. I thought some reviewers might already see this thread. I shall find one of them to message privately.

You'd also be wise to seek out the title specific threads for each movie and going back through them because I seem to remember the remasters were discussed at the time of release.

You will often get just as good a sense of how much an improvement (or not if the case may be) a re-release is compared to the previous release(s) by the obsessives who post there, often more so than some of the actual site reviews.

I have acknowledged that. Ultimately, I created this thread on purpose because all re-releases of these films that I mentioned above were all restored in 4K and issued through Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, MGM's former home video partner. Michael Reuben, one of our Blu-ray reviewers, did review many MGM movies in 2014 and earlier, except for remastered Rocky and Rain Man. His last reviewed MGM movie at this site in 2015 was Poltergeist III. Since he has posted no further Blu-ray.com reviews for this year, I have PM'd other reviewer and am waiting for his response to my request for reviewing both re-releases of Rocky and Rain Man.

All the Blu-ray editions indicated in my post #1 in this thread are now out-of-print, since MGM's deal with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment expired in 2020. I don't think any Blu-ray.com review for one of them will ever happen.

For the re-releases of Rocky and Rain Man in 4K Ultra HD by their separate film distributors, the following Blu-ray.com reviews have already been live on the site:

Rocky: The Knockout Collection (Blu-ray bundle)
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rocky...329865/#Review

Rain Man
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rain-...325978/#Review
