I can't really say I'm familiar with Cauldron Films so I'm not entirely sure what to expect here. Hopefully we get a good color grade and the brightness fluctuations get seen to.

Cauldron is owned by the folks who run Diabolikdvd, they're enthusiasts and purists like us. I trust them to get this right.

About time!

Saw this when i was 10 31 years ago on video and it shocked me with stuff i've never seen before like the infamous gut puke which made me sick first time. Then saw it again at 14 and enjoyed it since.

I bet it's gonna look stunning in Dolbyvision or HDR and all.

Blue Underground hasn't had this movie for a while now. Blu-ray rights went to Scorpion (and their edition is technically OOP) and it's with Cauldron now. Not sure if Cauldron has only the UHD rights, but yeah it's definitely not with Blue Underground anymore.

Ah, I guess I missed the Scorpion release. The BU blu seems to still be readily available though, but is it OOP?

I'm sure Cauldron will do it justice, their blus I've seen so far are nice. But IMO I think BU has been doing a better job with UHD than many of the major studios.

I've held off buying the other releases due to various reasons. Super excited to hear this is coming to 4K, plus The Beyond from GHR, having the trilogy in UHD will be fun.
