Are you ever annoyed by "multi format" sites who are biased against PS3?

I mean think about it, in the early days of the PS3's life we used to get all this bashing from other sites in which they say "blu ray is not needed" or "360 has more games, buy that" and other stuff. Now we don't get G4 in Ireland but from what I heard of is that they support "the other format" (just like when they called BD at the HD DVD funeral that other format. I think one fourm poster was offended when they said that) and they just give all the good stuff of the PS3 with some bad stuff, like lack of games and such without any bad points on 360 (I think, we don't get the show or the channel here). Another recent thing I've heard of the display thing on Gametrailers (the only thing I watch there is AVGN and I never saw the display vid) and there was a flood of complaints that they didn't do the PS3 display right, so they had to redo it. What do you think of this bias against the PS3? In my opinion, I think it's going down now that the console is being accepted for what it truly is. Let me hear your say on this.

Bias is everywhere. You're posting your complaint on a format dedicated site asking people that are biased to the PS3 to support your complaints.

That being said, things should be compared fairly.

I find it tiresome when the same old arguments of too expensive and not enough games come up with regard to the PS3. It has come a long way in it's first year on the market. People forget how poorly the 360 did during its launch period and first year. The only good launch title for the 360 was Call of Duty 2. Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, and Peter Jackson's King Kong were the other big launch titles. Perfect Dark Zero was extremely buggy, Kameo was boring, and King Kong was just an upscaled version of the XBox game.

I find it amazing that so many people are willing to look past the shoddy workmanship, design flaws, and failure rates of the 360 to keep just defending it.

The PS2 was the biggest console last generation, and people love seeing the one sitting on top fail, I guess. It's not going to happen though.

Here's the thing.

It's an enthusiast community. It's going to be hard to not let yourself get biased.

Both on the point of observer's bias and presenter's bias.

I'd suggest just not worrying about bias and if you find your opinion differs from the site, just don't traffic them.

That is the question, the only question.

All the other arguments are based on what preferences you have. In some ways the 360 is the better machine, in some ways its not.
