A blu ray of this film was released in Spain earlier this month. I live in the U.S. and just received my copy yesterday.

Obviously, I chose the English language option to watch the movie. When the movie played the audio was not in English. It sounded like German. I tried the other five language options hoping, in vain, that the English audio was misplaced. No such luck. No English language audio to be found.

I have bought blu rays many times before from France, Germany and Spain and have never had this happen. A first time for everything I guess.

Has anyone else had this happen? Part of me wants to buy this again to see if it was just a one off error and that a new disc would have English audio. But is this an authoring screw up and every disc replicated has the same problem?

Have you attempted going through the audio selections via your player's audio selection rather than disc's menu, just in case it was an authoring error and there is a menu faux-pas and the English audio is inaccesible due to that?

This is Resen we're talking about so feck-ups like this are bound to happen with grey market operations such as this. They may fix this in a later batch but, then again, they may not.

Looks to be a bootleg so you can end up with anything, sadly.

Had a quick shuffle through the disc - yes there is English soundtrack , had to access through the blu ray player set up to access

What part of the blu ray player set up did you use to access the English soundtrack? I went through the audio selections on both of my players and never got an English track when I played the disc. I obviously don't know what I'm doing.

My Player is Panasonic multi region DMP-BDT180EB - i was able to source English track via audio options in the set up menu - gave up on the disc menu itself
