Would the jump in picture quality for something like this (animation) be worth it if youre a fan of the show.

The movie yes, but until very recently the show wasn't even produced in HD

I agree, look at the Simpsons Movie, a lot of people figured it wouldn't really benefit, and it is beautiful.

I have the South Park Episode Good Times with Weapons on my 360 and it looks amazing. It would look even better at 1080P on my PS3.

Yes the 360 South Park episodes in 720P are much better. I didn't think they would be but they are. I would re-buy on blu.

hell yes anything can benefit from high def. i would buy it as long as it wasnt too much more, but i love south park and the good times iwth weapons hd dvd looks amazin

If you know someone with an XBOX 360 they can download them. I know one was free in HD, "Good Times with Weapons" I don't know if it still is.

I love South Park! The new season begins in march. I wouldn't buy it in blu just cuz I can watch any episode online for free

Well, as others have said The Simpsons Movie looked great on BD.
So I would pick up the movie with no hesitation.

Have to disagree with that, I loved the Singing.
But Yes no question there has to be another South Park movie.
