Frontline Fuel of War canceled for the PS3 - Blu-ray Forum

according to IGN Frontline Fuel of War has been canceled.

I can not find any news on THQ's site. they are still showing the game being released on the PS3.

Good, I hope they cancel it for PC as well, 'cause I've been playing the Beta from File Planet, and this game sucks. It's got decent level design, but the graphics are so dated, and the gameplay is just blah. COD4 has ruined me for shooters, though.

I honestly can't think of a decent/interesting THQ published game since Red Faction. They've seriously gone to the dumps.

+1 man i loved red faction and their geo mod technology. they should just make sequel to this game to make up for their lackluster lineup of game. just putting in my 2 cent.

Anyone know if Frontlines: Fuel of War got cancelled for the PS3? Don't see it listed on Gamestop or amazon.com anymore.

Just went to the site, and the PS3 logo has been removed from the bottom, indicating its not going to be released for PS3. The Windows, XBOX ones are still there.

Sad because this looked quite good.

Still on Amazon, but not directly.

Damn, I wonder why they cancelled it? Picked this up for the 360 yesterday, so far it's pretty cool.

Probably because they are in MS's bed and didn't want to make the PS3 the lead console. Then, they, most likely, tried to port it over to the PS3 and they couldn't get it to work (after Sony warned devs not to try that before the PS3 launched).

That's my guess.
