It's on the table, but not likely a priority. It may be released later, with a fresh DVD of Southern Cross. Because nobody has touched the materials for Southern Cross in ages, due to it's "loser" status, there is no HD restoration for it, so SD masters are all that is available. There's never been any discussion of remastering it for Blu-Ray, but maybe that will change.

I remember getting the Southern Cross/Mospeada 2008 DVD Boxset for my birthday just a couple of years ago or so as well as Star Blazers Boxsets since someone traded them in into a Record Store at my local Mall so they were sold for cheap.

I'm more amazed the Japanese companies didn't sell out Macross worse, by trying to release the sequels in censored form (removing any reference to what HG licensed).
