AGENT – Rockstar North (GTA) Exclusive PS3 Game - Confirmed in Development! - Blu-ray Forum

Tretton talked about how Rockstar has set the boundaries and established all of their new IPs on Playstation, and they announced a new one: Agent.

The only known details on the game thus far:

Agent takes players on a paranoid journey into the world of counter-intelligence, espionage and political assassinations during the height of the Cold War at the end of the 1970s.

Rockstar founder Sam Houser described Agent as the "ultimate action game."

Hmm...I bet the game will pay homages to other spy franchises, such as James Bond.

But I was wondering, what genre is it on? Is it an MMO shooter, first-person shooter, or simply third-person stealth? I'll be waiting for a gameplay video from Rockstar.

Even though no much was revealed, I think that is was good to see PS3 regain Rockstar exclusivity on a title. Hoping to hear more on this in the future. It has definitely piqued my interest, especially sine it's Rockstar making it.

So.

Sony had made the agreement with Rockstar known back in June 2007. 2 years ago now, I'm expecting a 3-4 year development period for this game. A late 2010, to mid-2011 release is the assumption then?

nope...LA Noire is Team Bondi in Australia..they have nothing to do with Rockstar North.
