Will the Batman/Superman poster from I Am Legend ever amount to anything? - Blu-ray Forum

There were rumors that this movie was supposed to come out, I wonder if WB made the poster in the movie to tell us something, or to throw it in our faces. It would be the most anticipated movie ever for me.

It's extremely unlikely. The Batman franchise is firing on all cylinders, Superman is unstable, a combo movie would put at risk all the success of Batman Begins/Dark Knight.

Even if its complete shit it will make tons of money, along with the Batman movie after that.

it wouldn't have Christian Bale or Christopher Nolan involved....nor would it be the Batman you know of in BB or TDK....

this movie might be Joel Schumacher days revisited...but I'd still buy it

I would expect plot holes galore...so shutting the brain off before watching would be the best way to go..

The Plot will be decent for that type of movie. Just expect EXTREME cornyness

I think well know if theyll make the Batman/Superman movie if Justice League is a sucess, which I think it will be. No Christian Bale, but some good young talent. Im most excited about a live action Avengers movie

they were planning (or talking of) making a batman/superman movie after the 3 batman and 3 superman movies, but that was years ago.. maybe by 2012+ we'll see it

The Batman Superman comic was pretty good, especially the first 12 part (I think) story. Wolfgang Peterson was attached to a Superman/Batman movie awhile back. If Justice League hits (which I agree it will, but I'm afraid the story will suffer since it has so many great characters in it), this may become closer to a reality. Or they'll just keep making more Justice League movies.

Watch the movie again.....they have posters in the video store for Fred Claus 2....and i can assure you that will amount to nothing.

I read somewhere a long time ago that both Christian Bale and Brandon Routh were already signed on for the Superman/Batman Movie.

I saw Christian Bale say that he's only signed on for 3 movies and that he is only doing "Nolan's Batman" ...this was in response to the Justice League movie and whether or not he'd play Batman in that movie...

Yeah, the first story arc in that that series is very good stuff. I don't think they'd be able to pull it off in a movie, but hey, I'd be willing to give it a look.

Also, like the poster earlier said, I'm more pumped about the Avengers movie than I am Justice League, although I hope they both blow me away.

Now... if they used THIS story line, and all the reprocussions from it for a Justice League movie, it'd be amazing...
