Default Cars Blu-ray not playing?

Im assuming since ratatouille didn't want to play for me, that Cars wouldn't be much different... I was right....

Anyone manage to get cars to play?

just wondering.

Mine flickers on some parts. I am sure there will be a firmware update to fix the issue.

I have watch both Cars and Ratatouille on my sony S300.
Haven't watched them on my PS3 yet.

What player are you using?

Edit: I just realized what section I was in. I guess you are watching these on a PC? Sorry I don't have a Blu-ray drive on my PC.

I have added my crap to my signature, which I should have done a long time ago... So far there are 4 movies that I can't play... Still waiting on a response back from Cyberlink, its been 5 days since I sent them about 12 documents of system specs, error messages and dump logs from powerDVD when trying to play these movies... I hope they reply soon...
So far I know its not the drives fault, the drive is up to date, and ready to roll, the software locks up when certain movies menus are trying to load. Basically one of my processor cores locks up at 100% and powerdvd stops responding, and the bluray drive light stops blinking.

I understand that it plays on a ps3...

this is in the Blu-ray PCs, Drives, Media and Software Category...
I'm looking for responses from people with htpc setups or just bluray drives in their PCs...

yes i passed the advisor with flying colors
its totally the software at fault, I've spoken with LG and they said they are up to spec and working on the next round of firmware... I'm assuming for the 2.0 spec...
I have a long string of tickets in at Cyberlink trying to sort out why they won't play...
its taking them a while, so im assuming they are having trouble themselves...
just wondering if anyone else has luck, just to help pass the time, and maybe to let others know they aren't the only ones that can't get them to play

I have Cars and it plays fine on PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 both the latest revision 3730 and 3319a.

Worth a clean install of PowerDVD?
