HD-DVD Dead?

At least that's how I understand it? I'm a proud owner of a Sony B-Ray player, and simply love it. A friend of mine recently got a HD player, and posted on a mutual forum that Blu lost the war. I believe this is untrue, but how do I let him down easy? lol! He was pretty smug in his post, so maybe he needs a wake-up call, any suggestions????

He works at a Wal-mart! My wife ( Kat ) says to just be nice, he'll get the message without my input. BTW...this site is great! It's cool to communicate with fellow B-ray fans, and I thank you all for the privilege! I'm just a newbie, but I know a good thing when I see it, and this place is a groovin' thang!!!!

he is kinda hard headed. Actually, he's a great drummer, but I think he's marchin' to a bitter end. Bein' new here, I enjoy the various responses, but am learning how to ask questions a little more cautiously. However, we are wondering when Kiss will board the B-ray bandwagon? Lol!!!!!
