Default Please help with sound!

How do you get sound from speakers on 7.1 system. Worked the other day now it does not. I am using hdmi for auto.

what do you mean how do you get sound make sure your bd player is outputting through hdmi and the volume is turned up

I was watching the fifth element remastered the other night and I had sound from all 7 speakers and sub, but hooked up to hdmi last night and only 5.1 sound...

some tracks are only 5.1 so if you want 7.1 you have to matrix it.

wasnt this answered in another thread?
read your receiver manual. it will tell you how to matrix the sound

yeah why do you have 2 threads open about the same problem and next time be more specific when you say no sound i think your getting no sound at all
