Default Farewell to my PS3!

For those of you who know me in these forums, I got some sad news. Due to unemployment and many bills to pay, I am forced to sell my perfect PS3 (60 GB) on ebay for $400 starting and the BIN is $500. It includes the hard aluminum carrying case which seems unbreakable. If anyone is interested, look for my ebay username: Movieman681760 and view my stuff I have for sale.

P.S.: But!!! I will be back soon enough after my bills are paid and employment is found! I can't stand life without blu-ray.

Here's the link:

Lol! I've already sold half of my blu-rays. I found an alternative method in buying BDs. I rent first, watch it, and if I like it, I wait until X-Mas when good deals come out, then I buy them. I always feel deceived when I pay full retail. I guess that explains my financial struggle.

Just want to drop my $0.02 that I fully understand and support the OP in his decision. I've come out of extremely difficult financial struggles before, and sometimes it takes sacrifice to get back to black.

Best of luck to you, buddy. You're doing the right thing for your family.

My sincerest condolances, dude. I was out of work for 4+ years, so I know what hard times are like. Fingers crossed you get a job soon and your financial situation improves...

that sucks, I hope you find employment soon, I've had some rough times myself, but eventually you will get back on your feet.

Best of luck. I went through a similar situation last year.

I wasn't out of a job, but due to financial issues I had to get rid of my PS3, and back then (late-September 2007, early-October) I was leeching off my brother's CRT HDTV. About a month ago, I got back on my feet and purchased my own HDTV, a HD DVD player and got a PS3 again.

Things will work out for you.
