Surround Sound Help

All of this HD stuff is new to me, as for setting my stuff up and etc.
At Christmas time I purchased a PS3 and Toshiba 32" Regza, and Sony HDMI Cable.
I was still purchasing Standard DVDs until about 3 weeks ago when I saw this website.
I now want to step up to surround sound.
My setup is in my bedroom, so I don't need anything to big. I joined the Marines, so I won't be here but for another 6months. In this case I would like something no more than $350.
I'm having trouble finding something decent that fits what I'm looking for.
I'm turning to you all for some help. If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

i couldnt recommend anything at that level. maybe twice as much. maybe some one else has opinions at your price point. at any case, good luck with your tour bro.

i recently purchased a sony ss2000 surround sound home theatre in a box. it sells for $399.00 in store. i got the sales man to knock off $50.00 for applying for a credit card (you get the discount no matter if you qualify or not) then price matched there on line price of $359.00 so 309.00 plus tax.i think it sounds good, im in a one bedroom apartment so i did"nt need anything fancy either. you also have 30 days to return it with no restocking fee if you don't like it

Thanks man. I'll check this out tomorrow. I'm going to make a trip to MovieStop tomorrow, while in the area I'll look around for this set.
