Canada No Frills - Blu-ray Deals

Noticed a few No Frills grocery stores carry Blu-Rays and DVDs.
Picked up "Top Gun 3D" (no slip) and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" 2-disc BD edition (w/ slip) both for $9.99 each, and a Dragon Dynasty "SPL Killzone" DVD for $6.99.
Also saw on the shelf a "Top Gun: 30th Anniversary steelbook" BD for $9.99.
This was at the Scarborough, ON location.

More No Frills locations and other grocery stores all owned by the same company are mentioned here:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...frills&page=41

All the same inetvideo stuff at the same prices.
Using points makes them practically free.

I used to order from iNetVideo long ago. I had emailed asking if they'd consider free shipping with a minimum purchase, but they refused.

You can get iNetVideo BDs with free shipping here, minus Shout factory titles:
ebay.ca/usr/entertain_me/

The exceptions are more than just Shout. This seller's free shipping seems to be hit & miss. Some are free. Some listings are $12-15 CAD shipping per title.

It's not just No Frills, they are practically at all of the Loblaws chains in my area including Superstore, Independent, and of course Loblaws.

Sobeys has a lot of these titles as well, as does Shoppers.

However, most of these are retreads. The first time I used to see them in bulk were at Gian Tiger chains probably going back five years ago.

There are a few new titles here and there, but the majority of them have already been released (and recalled) from Giant Tiger when they were big into movies.

Maybe other collectors' stores have different inventory than me, but I haven't seen movies at my local Superstore for years. They used to get one of those bins of $5 / $10 movies at Christmas time, but my local franchises didn't even get those this year.

I have one local Shoppers with a stock of movies.

Sobeys and Giant Tiger haven't made their way to the Vancouver area yet.

Also check Canadian Tire. They used to have large racks of iNetVideo movies, but I haven't seen them recently.

Rexall Pharmacy has some movies where I am, but the largest selection is usually Independent, Sobeys, and Shoppers. Every month or so I notice that the selection churns completely.
