Default Hello! ;)

Hello everyone!

I'm new to these forums and I am enjoying reading through all the threads. I just wanted to give you a little background on myself.

In November I bought the XBox 360 HD-DVD player because I couldn't get a PS3. I knew a little of the difference between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. I tried it out with the free HD-DVD and I thought it was a good experience.

After a month and before Christmas I was able to buy a Sony Playstation 3! I love it! The feedback I was getting concerning Blu-Ray from other forums and from the general public was negative and sometimes childlike. So after reading more about the formats I finally decided to fully support Blu-Ray.

My XBox 360 HD-DVD player is now on Ebay ready to be sold!

Glad to be here and to give my full Support!

Welcome! As you can probably see by all of the announcements made today at CES 2007, you made the right choice. Movies like Predator, Independance Day, Pirates of the Carribean, (just to name a few) are all Blu-Ray exclusives.

god bless you for making a right decision. but i dont realy know what i say can be counted to either being a fanboy or not, but i still say that with my
ps3 experience so far i have not been dissapointed at all what so ever. i bought my 56in jvc hd-ila tv in october and almost a month away the ps3 came out. i was lucky, extremely lucky to get my hands on a 60gb model 2 weeks later for only 800 dollars. talk about a steal . well anyways, ive bought kingdom of heaven, training days, stargate, and the bd movie that came with it taladega nights. i knew that 1080p was the thing to get and to see, but i never knew how good it was till it was on my tv. i will never go back to watching a dvd again unless it will be upscaled to 1080p which sony is saying it will with a few more firmware updates for the ps3. plus get this, for 600 dollars you are getting THE BEST blu ray player out on the market. no joke. with all the hype of the new version of crackbox coming out i really think that all those sappy fanboys that spent 400 dollars on a premium just to play gears of war will suffer even more when theyre out of extra cash to come up with just to get a new version of the same old system. believe me when i say that gears of war is the ONLY good game they have. if i were you i wouldnt even sell that xbox 360. i would give it away to salvation army. YOU CAN WRITE THAT OFF ON YOUR TAXES. more money "hint, hint hint"

p.s im writing this while drinking jagermeister. lol.

Yes I am enjoying the Playstation 3. I consider myself more of a gamer so I have the PS3, XBOX 360 and soon the Wii. Oh I am not selling the Xbox 360... just the HD-DVD player.
