Clear as day, it is kg and by a mile but he will never win it with the idiots who vote for it because of this love affair with the west. Lets see who owned who during the season, the lakers were not even in a single minute of any game when they played the celtics this season. James is laughable and will be golfing in another week or so, Paul though if anyone would beat out kg, i would have no problem with seeing Paul win it. But sorry Kg is a more important piece to this celtics team then went from dead last in every single catagory last year to now being ranked #1 in every main stat catagory this league has.

Whether anybody wants to admit it or not, the MVP race is a numbers game. KG's numbers don't come close to Kobe and/or CP3's. KG's not the only reason the Celtics are as good as they are. If that were the case, my Spurs would have beat them when they visited Boston, albeit without Tony Parker, in the midst of that 11-game win streak the Spurs were about to begin at the time. When they were playing the best ball of their season. So basically I'm saying that Boston can win without him. The Hornets and Lakers on the other hand are nothing without their two candidates. But between the two, I'd go with Kobe fore a couple of reasons. Even though I don't like him, he's been the best player in basketball for the past few seasons and doesn't have an MVP trophy to show it and that's just not right. You're right though, that shouldn't factor into a decision but what should is that his team did beat the Hornets just last week and for it, got the numer one seed in the toughest conference in the history of basketball. That's saying something. And also, by the time Chris Paul is done with his career, he'll have plenty of MVP trophys and championships under his belt. I wouldn't fret about it if he didn't win.
