How do I know if a television set is compatible...no, that's not the right way to put it, how do I know an HDTV can display the complete color gamut that is possible with the above video codec? For those who aren't aware - the new codec delivers some very radical changes to the color gamut delivered by Blu-ray. I am personally interested only in DLP TVs.

HDMI 1.3 is required for deep color, codec is irrelevant

However there will not be any movies for the forseeable future that will use it, so it'll only be useful for games

You do know that consumer grade LCDs only display 18 bit color?
