Arrow New to BLU-RAY need your help

hello all

i'm new to blu-ray world and i have 3 Qs.

1-is there any BD player play all Region A,B and C??

2-which is the best BD player to buy and why?

3-i have the LG digital TV 100hz if i connected to the BD player by the component the picture will be clear ?

1. I don't think so? ...but some movies are region free, or you can buy an import.

2. the PS3 is probably the best for the money.

3. Component connection will look almost identical to hdmi. (although movies will only play @1080i max with component...HDMI is only way for 1080p movies)

thanx but i need a professional player coz i have the marantz 7.1 ch with boston speakers is the PS3 enough?!

i understand that you recomend the PS3 not any other player !

my region is (B) but i'm welling to buy any player with region (A) coz usually i bought my DVD's or in future my BD's from amazon

well, heres my oppinion.

I think for the money, the PS3 is best Bluray player hands down. The only catch is you do not have an HDMI input on the Receiver, so the best audio you will get from the PS3 is via Optical cable. This means no surround sound Lossless audio, only the standard 5.1 dts and dolby digital. If that is not a problem to you, then the PS3 is perfect.

However, your Receiver does have 7.1 Multichannel Analog input. This is one potential way to achieve Lossless audio, you simply need a Bluray player that can internally decode Dolby TrueHD and Dts-HD Master audio to send out over the analog outputs. Consider the Sony BDP-S550, Pioneer BDP-LX71, Panasonic DMP-BD50 (not sure what you can find in your area?)
