Scorpion Releasing and Kino Lorber have teamed up again to bring the masses the 1972 cult classic, politically charged, adult animation black comedy Fritz the Cat. Featuring the directorial debut of Ralph Bakshi (Wizards, The Lord of the Rings, Fire and Ice), the film revolves around a college student cat named Fritz (created by the iconic Robert Crumb) and a cast of other quirky*characters engaging in sex, drugs, and other profane debauchery. The folks at Scorpion Releasing and Kino Lorber aren't done with Fritz the Cat just yet as both companies are proud to also present the Blu-ray debut of the 1974 sequel to the original film, The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat. Fritz is now a family man and trapped in domestic hell, but that doesn't stop him from sparking up a joint and dreaming about the adventures he could have with each of his 9 lives.
