Although I am curious to know what you had in mind to say - it is the internet, after all, no one really will think you a horrible person for it.

Hi JJ,

I could repost if you are curious, but would want to remove if you felt I had stepped over the line. The thing is I don't think I have written an article which is provocative, but I would rather censor myself than be banned from the forums which I enjoy contributing too.

I will be on-line for a while yet so let me know what you think.

I doubt you would get banned, being a new member and all - someone like myself were to post that, I'd get drawn and quartered and burned at the stake. The lenient Goderators on the site would only warn you. Besides, as long as you don't use bad language or obvious sexual connotations, you're good to go.

OK, here you go:

I recently watched Predator 2 on DVD for the first time in years. When we got to the scene where Danny Glover was on-board the Predator ship, he came across a room where the "skulls" of Predator past kills were hung on a wall as a trophy.

Now my mind flitted briefly to the Hi-Def movie format war. I was someone who was totally on the fence throughout and had already made my mind up not to pick a format until a clear winner was evident.

I was wondering. Have any of you who were totally blu throughout purchased one HD-DVD to hang on your wall as a trophy?

Yes, this is a slightly bizarre thought, but admittedly it only came to mind while watching the aforementioned film.

To round off, I hope this does not offend any ex-red (I apologise in advance), and any of you out there who have done this or similar can salve my curiostiy.

Never thought about that, of course I have 2 blu players, and a HD DVD player...

When you mentioned the "trophy room" though.... I instantly thought of that scene, and although not the greatest film in the world, that would make for ONE COOL HOME THEATER THEME!!!!!!!! I'm sure cheap plastic skeletons could be had for next-to-nothing right after halloween etc. too..... then a little creative painting, and other accessories from that scene ....

I'd rather just hang it on a meathook.
