I bought my wife Hellboy and Die Hard. She said that I just bought them for myself. I told her she couldn't prove it, so she made me sleep on the couch. Luckily, it's a comfy couch in front of the TV where I watch Hellboy instead of sleeping. Man, was I tired the next day at work. Everyone at work noticed how tired I was and assumed that I "got some" because of my awesome gift. And, in a way, I guess I did "get some", it all just depends on how you look at it.

Me neither; the wife usually gets pissed when I buy movies for birthdays/holidays, etc.

and then she tells me how much she'd like a copy of 'Stranger than Fiction'...

HAHAHA, oh man, she didn't like Hellboy or Die Hard? I thought those were classic Mothers Day movies Maybe you can make it up to her by buying the new Rambo when it comes out on Blu

Was gonna buy my mom ps3 so she can store her first grandboy pics in hD and play slideshow on her Gateway HDtv. She rather me buy her airplane ticket or provide gas money for her visit in june. She is staying with us for whole summer and did not want any mothers day gift except pictures of us

so my wife wanted two movies and I brought it to make her happy considering i spent lot money on movies for myself as wife and daughter spent lot money on itunes. I did not buy two movies for myself so i have more in my collection, i want my wife to enjoy her movies as i brought her rent copy long time ago

But she liked her watch better

Bought wife.com PS I Love you on Friday.

Then, on Sunday, bought her Hellboy, Resident Evil, Troy, and The Departed, courtesy of the 2 for $30 deal at BB. Or were those for me?

Nope, my mother still has her old SD CRT TV. It's only been a couple of years since she went to DVD.

No, I didn't. That's not a thoughtful gift, as she's not head-over-heels for high-definition movies.

Nope.

I rented 27 dresses. It still was a waste of $1.99.

But, that's okay. My wife will be treating me and a friend to Iron Man on Friday. And by treating, I mean going into my wallet and giving me my own money, then waiting for me to say thanks.

My mom doesn't have Bluray, and my wife is not my mom, so she didn't get any.

haha, i did. my wife loves Predator and we didn't have it on dvd so i took the plunge and got the bd of it for her. It's her first mother's day so I figured I'd break our tradition of not celebrating commercial holidays and get her something (something we could both enjoy at that)

Dude! Any Blu veteran around here could have told you that you would end up on the couch. If you had asked for advice, we would have told you to get her some Girls Gone Wild instead. Still end up on the couch, but... you get the idea
