Default blue tooth headset for ps3

hey everyone!, i am in the market for a bluetooth headset for the ps3. does anyone know which one is a good one to get? i tried searching, but i coulden't get any inquiries. i have heard the "Jabra BT-125" is good? but im not sure, i want to hear what you all think or have experience in dealing with the different kinds. also, can you use just any old bluetooth headset with the ps3? thanks in advance!

The best headset is Earset 2 by Bang & Olufsen of Denmark. It costs around $350. It is available for both ears.

I'd recommend going with 1 of two headsets. Either the headset that sold with 'Warhawk' or the upcoming 'Metal Gear Solid 4' unit. Those are the only two that have definitely been incorporated perfectly to function with the PS3 system. All others will work, but the functionality will be questionable. I have read other forums where many people with the same headset (varying styles too) have different experiences. A lot of people are saying that their headsets need to be re-syncronized every time they turn on their PS3.

I have a Jabra BT350 which works great. Also own a Jabra 2025 which was inexpensive and works pretty well.

As someone else said, most any headset will work. You don't need anything fancy, so just look for a deal.

I had no idea the Eye was that good at chatting!
i just ordered the MGS4 headset, which will come in handy as either an in-game chat tool, or a cell-phone headset... but perhaps I should consider the Eye for gaming and just use the headset for my cell...

Thanks for the info on the Eye!

The only time I could see a headset being better is if you have other people in the house talking about day to day stuff and you wanted a more "local" conversation. Despite having a full house that's not the way it works out around here.

Having a mic that is always fully charged is another benefit.

The Jabra BT-125 is the one that comes boxed with Warhawk iirc. I think it's pretty crappy, but have not gotten around to replacing it yet. Definetly in my plans though. I was thinking of trying out a Jawbone.
