Default Wonder if the brand Mitsubishi WD-52628 could do a Blu-ray 3d Image?

I own a Ps3 and a 52in Mitsu (DLP) and tried testing its quality on some blue ray dvds. The sample that best buy shows seems like the movie is coming out, but mines doesn't.

Yes i do own a HDMI cable and i'm not sure if my settings are correct. So could anyone help a newb out here? Thanks

it may be the way the sample they were playing is rendered to look. There are typical sales gimmicks to get you to buy and it looks different at home. One is the florescent lighting in the store(usually works in a clothes store) and I noticed especially on the blu-ray display at WM, they have a feed running the previews, not a real blu-ray. Now some stores are playing an actual movie, (so YMMV)
Another is turn the lighting on the brightest setting, but in the long term it shortens the bulb life but makes the picture stand out

Image pop is going to depend on the movie (the encode/transfer/etc), your tv and settings, and your environment. Best recommendations I can give is to try and duplicate it by using the same movie (or at least one with really good image pop like DH4, POTC: At World's End, Blade Runner, etc) and to tweak and calibrate your settings.

Try turning off any image enhancement modes and turn down Sharpness to the lowest level that still provides a sharp picture (this may be 0). Try calibrating your colors- you may be able to get more pop that way. I'd recommend maybe searching under your model type and calibration to see what others have done if you're not comfortable.

That'll at least get you started, but don't expect an older DLP to keep up with the latest and greatest TV's.
