Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Lost etc. buy seasons now or wait for the complete sets? - Blu-ray Forum

I am not sure what to do ?

Heros seasons 1 and 2 will be out at the same time. The others may take a while before every season is released. If you wait, the previous seasons that have been released will probably go on sale lower than what they are now. But if you do wait, it could be a very long time. Lost still has two more seasons and I don't think season 1 and 2 will be released before the last season.

Bill Hunt said LOST seasons 1 & 2 could be out by the holidays. Disney is very aware of how popular this show is and the kind of cult following it has.

i'll buy heroes 1 and 2 right away. As far as LOST, I may wait for the whole series and then buy it all in a HUGE set, like Seinfeld... who knows, maybe amazon will make a boo, boo and sell the whole set for like $300 cheaper or something for an hour... that would be cool....

Something like Heroes which may last a while, it's better to buy seasons at a time, there's no point in waiting 5-10 years until the complete series comes out. Lost which is nearing the end of it's run, it would be better to wait, and get the entire thing all at once.

My experience was Stargate, I bought them as they came out starting with season 1, it wasn't until 10 years later they came out with the complete series, so there was no point in me buying it. MASH on the other hand, was long since done, I had bought only a couple of seasons before they came out with the entire series, so it was worth me getting the entire series.

I already bough lost seasons 1-3 on dvd. I kind of regret that now. I most likely will end up selling them, then wait for the box set when it comes out - if i can stand it that long. although i do record epsodes of lost in hd on my computer ever since the start of season 4, maybe that will hold me off until then.

I probably would buy them seperately but then i know that when a box set comes out its going to be full of suprises. Plus it looks cooler in a box.
