Special Plastic Wrap On TWBB

Anyone else notice how the plastic wraping on the case is different then most Blu-rays? feels kinda cheap. but I LOVE paramount cover art... no swooshes and the security sticker arches above the blu logo so it doesnt damage it when ripping it off.

I've had a few that came like that, not just TWBB. I guess it just depends on where it was packaged. The reversible cover art is awesome.

I just picked up a copy from Wal-Mart and it had the standard wrapping. But I can see your point. That looks like a bootleg someone is trying to pass off.

I got mine from Best Buy, and they were all like that. Anyone else's TWBB have wrapping like that?

This is another movie that came out today that I almost bought. Finally, the day has come when I have to choose which BD's I actually want. By that I mean, I had reached the point where every movie I wanted on BD, I had. Now there's this one, Cloverfield, The Eye (probably only for two reasons: Jessica Alba and 7.1), Dirty Harry. Sweet.

I'll tell you what it might be.
When someone buys a game, or a Blu-ray movie, and returns it to the store... say after they learned they can't play Blu-ray on a DVD player or HD DVD player, the store will sometimes do its own plastic wrap on it. They will use a hair dryer to heat up the plastic and make it fit the disc better, but it is cheap and not the same as a new disc. It should be alright, but it is a cheap way to make people think it is unopened.
That is one possibility.

Better than more threads about Transformers and lotr and star wars. I think since Transformers is finally coming out people forgot about the other movies for awhile. And yes I can't wait for Transformers to come out. C'mon sept.

I picked up TWBB and Cloverfield straight out of the box last night before they were even put up on the shelf (see thread here: https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=52100) and both of the movies were in wrappers like this.

Went to target a while ago and a bunch of CASINO ROYAL's were wrapped normally while some were wrapped like yours. Initially I thought it was a return and the stores attempt to wrap it back up but I noticed a bunch of other titles like it too. As long as the seal is on it wouldn't matter I guess
