I honed paramount on Thursday afternoon, as am getting tired of all these US announcements, and was told 'we have no further information at this time.....' make of that what you will. I will be checking....http://bluray.liesinc.net/ to see if Transformers is region free. bt the pain is killing.

Tell you what maybe we should go to London you can Tomb Stone some execs and i'll give a Stone Cold Stunner......see if that gets thier money grabbing heads turning!!!

I know it's frustrating when a particular movie you want isn't released here, but how I mentally cope is by trying to focus instead on what movies are available. Play.com have 103 upcoming Blu-ray titles listed for UK release, so there are plenty of movies coming along for us to watch on Blu-ray.

It's really annoying seeing alot of releases "released" in america first whilst we wait for new releases on blu-ray, it seems to me that in general everything is moving very slowly in terms of releasing movies on blu-ray. why!

So far every single Paramount Blu-ray was Code-Free so especially for all UK'ers it should be easy to order from the US (and probably cheaper too).

I just import most of the films i want from the US providing theyre region free of course. Ive just recieved Rambo this weekend and Cloverfield is on its way.Ive got Transformers and Ironman on preorder too,it hasnt been confirmed that they are region free yet but all paramount titles have been so far and theres still plenty time to cancel if need be. I also prefer the US bluray boxes for some reason, they are thinner.

Yep , Paramount's UK support is crap, but to be honest, apart from Warner, UK Blu Ray support is terrible FULL STOP!!! i have been buying at least 80% of my discs from America since i got my Blu Ray. Cloverfield and there will be blood being my most recent, both by Paramount. And then we have sony releasing crap titles most of the time like the latest action pics starring Segal and Van Damme? Whats the ****ing point? No wonder Blu Ray adoption is declining. Also whilst im on one fox support is also shite in the UK. I had to get Prison Break series one from the netherlands, because they have released it there and not in the UK. COME ON GUYS, PULL YOUR ****ING FINGERS OUT!!!!!! The Uk could be a strong allies with blu ray but i wouldn't be surprised if it just died on its arse because no one is pushing it!!!!!!!
