if you're honestly not trolling, .....why not. It's a nice player and if you stumble across dirt cheap discs sure. HD DVD is not going to rape your mother if you keep it.

I would say no, simply due to the risk of you purchasing more HD DVDs.

The only positive thing about keeping that garbage is that you will get a decent SUC machine.

I dont believe some of you people. Do you honestly hate a video format? Honestly, this guy is asking if he should take a free gift. I just dont get it if these people you dont know say dont take it are you gonna listen.

I have both formats and dont notice a difference it picture quality. People are more into the format than they are the movies.

If you honestly think that some idiot is going to get on the board and post something so stupid without trying to stir shit up then you must be new to the interweb and I can understand why you do not get the reactions.
Either that or the person is twelve and mentally inept and will be posting next to ask if they should take a leak.

This site is BLU-RAY.com after all, not dualformat.com.

You don't notice the difference in PQ in movies like Ratatouille, Be Kind Rewind, Pirates of the Caribbean, Cars, Rambo or iRobot? Hm, maybe there will be a difference with Iron Man, Wall-E and The Dark Knight.

Are you being serious? And you don't know why? Man, I thought the days of explaining and understanding this stuff was long over.

BirdManJr just explained my comments. To answer your question, yes I've seen HDDVD displayed at Best Buy and Fry's. Not bad. But I wanted something better than not bad and I wanted it for the next few years.

Man Birdmanjr you are the most closed minded person. Your like Hardcore blu ray arent you. Your defending it like a family member and hd dvd is an evil villian thats coming to kill you. I think most of the people here like blu ray and not the actual movies. Pretty sad.
