I don't think this is going to work that well. When somebody buys a new tv they want to see the 1080P really pop! They don't want a watered down 1080i streaming thru the internet. Not to mention how many people have a slow internet connection. Road Runner at 2Mb/s seems hardly quick enough to be considered "high-speed". Luckily I have a little over 27Mb/s thru my provider so this might be a nice feature for me, but I don't think Sony is going to have as much "luck".
We're very shortly away from seeing 1080P thru On Demand. Sony is a few steps behind IMHO. |
