Advertising Blu in a standard DVD package? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey,
My roommate bought a Universal DVD tonight ("Dead Silence", terrible movie), and the inside had a print out opposite the DVD which was advertising HD DVD.

Since I have only bought Blu movies for the past year, does anyone know if Blu studios are advertising Blu-Ray in their standard def DVD cases?

Yes, eragon, bought in UK has leaflet of BD.

I'm not sure about cases, but there's many movies that have blu-ray advertisments in the begining of the dvd (where the previews are shown).

I also remember buying a Sony 50 pack dvd-r and it had a blu-ray cd-leaflet inside.

Almost everyone of Sony's new movies has a BD insert, and I think Disney and Fox are doing the same.

Sony and Disney titles all advertise Blu at the beggining of their discs. I dont remember if fox does, but whatever.. And Liosngate trailers all feature the "available on Blu-Ray and DVD" thing lol
