BDPS300 Firmware help..... - Blu-ray Forum

I understand there are issues with the new "version 95" firmware.
Is there a link that will take me to the older version 90 download, Sony's site seemes to offering only the newest download.
Any info would be great.

After spending almost two hours with Sony this morning I installed 3.95...
3.90 is NOT available for download. While they did not admit that 3.95 has issues, they did say that if I downloaded the software "now" I shouold not have a problem...
Could they have fixed something without ever admitting there was a problem?

I tried downgrading to previous versions but it does not work, even if you master reset the player, the player just spits out the disk.

I have run the firmware in my home machine and then took it to work and updated our display model.... both seem to be working fine.
I did not have any problems during the creation of the disks as some have indicated and the disk ran problem free, Less than 20 min for the complete upgrade.

3.95 works good for me.If you need old firmwares shoot me an email..I have my copies that Sony sent me to do the upgrades.

3.95 seems to be working ok and all fears unjust.
Seems some people have problems either creating the image disk or during installs.

Go the easy to avoid the problem request the new firmware whenever they become available from Sony site and its mailed to your house within a week.Thats how I have always done my updates and never had a problem as yet.

I have been doing the download thing from early on.... It was just some postings here that made me wonder if the firmware was good.
I have had no issues downloading and burning image files to install, and all the upgrades I have done so far have been problem free.
