Default How many 7.1 movies??

What movies are 7.1? I keep looking but all I can find is 5.1 except 3:10 to Yuma. Is this ever going to be the standard?
Thanks

You can check for yourself:

BD Stats

You can see all the 7.1 titles under the "audio" category.

*EDIT*

I just noticed a filter for 7.1 movies on the site... very handy

Yup.. just saw how you can search movies by keyword. Just use 7.1 and it'll filter them.

BD stats gives a lot more details though..

Quick question, I'm on the market for a Home Theater system, is it worth it to get a 7.1 instead of a 5.1? How much more money would that be?

A 7.1 receiver usually costs a couple hundred more. A couple extra rear speaks will run you a hundred bucks for some decent ones.

I have two extra speaker wires running under in my crawl space just waiting to be hooked up to a 7.1 system. Them I'm upgrading my front L & R to the Yamaha NS-777s and moving my front ones back and my rear ones to the rear center.

Can't wait... just need about $1,200 and I'm good to go.

How come it lists the New Line movies under Warner?

Nevermind. I never noticed until now. "A Time Warner Company."
