Have Paramount dropped the PCM Soundtrack on Transformers? <- TrueHD - Blu-ray Forum

The reason i asked is that a short while ago i looked at scans (eripmedvd) and i states that audio is just Dolby TrueHD and no mention of the Uncompressed PCM or indeed DD+ that we were initially informed would be on the disc. Can anyone confirm or deny whether this is so.

The only mention of audio I see on the back cover is the TrueHD symbol. There is no symbol for PCM that they can put on the bottom of the back cover so if they have said it will have PCM, then it will probably still have PCM. This release is due out pretty soon, I would imagine that if they had dropped any audio tracks, we would have heard about it by now.

Regardless of whether they have dropped PCM or not, that TrueHD track is going to sound incredible.

just a couple more weeks and we will have transformers then at the end of September we will have Iron Man

It is confirmed by Mr.Bill Hunt that Transformers will include only DolbyTHD but a new encode supervised by Mr,Bay.

whats wrong with just TrueHD? Is it because your receiver doesn't accept that type?
