Default HDTV with built-in "blade" blu-ray. Would you buy one?

Couldn't find my old necro thread so I started a new one.

Long ago I started a thread about HDTV's with built-in "blade"
blu-ray players and "cable boxes". "Blade" meaning the boxes are easily removable, thus upgradable and repairable.

Think of it, technically, not only could you keep the player current with firmware updates, but you could keep the TV firmware current. Up until now, we live with whatever firmware comes with the TV for life. I don't know about you, but I would like to update the firmware on my HDTV's.

Would you buy one?
