Smile Favorite childhood flicks you want or have on blu-ray.

For the sake arguement, let's consider "childhood" as any favorite film you saw from age 21 and under.

Most of my memorable films are sci-fi's I saw on TV, and a few in movie theaters. So I want on blu-ray.

* Tron (duh)
* Forbidden Planet
* Day the Earth Stood Still
* Wizard of Oz. Mostly for the HD experience and nostagia.

etc.

I got this through netflix on BD this past weekend...wow. it looks absolutely amazing. you see so many little details that you never saw before. the colors are great, lots of pop.
my wife didn't realize that beetlegeuse has green moss around his face. you could see the texture of the moss.

it was a pleasure to watch....really, it was like watching a new movie. I watched it twice
