I thought this was announced at CES? Thomson were out of the format war until it was more clear where it was going.

Lol Doesn't matter to me. The RCA HD DVD player doesn't have the "skyrocketing" sales the Toshiba players have.

Yes, Thomson said this at CES. I consider this direct confirmation that nothing has changed.

It was always possible that Toshiba could have been selling them since CES. Clearly, that is not the case.
