This was one of my first Blu-ray purchases over a year ago. It looks and sounds great. The jungle comes alive it is so darn green. Whenever someone posts a list of "Your Top 10 Must-Have Blu-rays" Apocalypto always seems to make my list and several others as well. Yes it is subtitled, but it works for this movie.

One of my favorite non-Blu ray movies is Brotherhood of the Wolf. I only watch this movie in the native French language and use the subtitles. This is how I got hooked on it in the theater. Same thing with Apocalypto. You hardly notice the subtitles you end up getting so engrossed in the story.

A most excellent Blu ray title!

I saw a little bit of it because my friend was using it as demo material, it looks interesting. I will rent it.

Critics complained about all the bloody violence, but it seemed necessary for that kind of movie. I thought it was very good. I don't know if I'll watch it again, but I'm glad I saw it.

This was my first Blu-Ray purchase. My wife, sister-in-law, and I watched it and were blown away. It's a good movie, with a great story, and the PQ and AQ are excellent.

Couldn't agree more. As others have mentioned, it is certainly demo quality from an A/V perspective, but that isn't enough to make me watch it more than once. Enjoyable film nonetheless.

A little slow till the eclipse. Then its awesome action. I love the part with the bees. They were like what the fu*k then bam!

I thought it was a really good flick, I have to say 1st and foremost that i'm not a big fan of films with subtitles, but it seemed that they kept dialog to a minimum so i found myself doing a lot less reading then i expected
