Motostorm ships 3/6 who getting/wants

I am getting the game 3/7, and was wondering who wanted/is getting it to. I have hear mixed reveiws about it. What do you think?

I have more preference in playing at video arcades so I only needed a few consoles games.

it's awesome. I've had the Japanese import for 2 months and the core gameplay is perfect. It's a lot of fun even if it is lacking in features.

I'm going to have to get this game and even though it didn't get good reviews I'm craving a traditional RPG so bad on the PS3 I'm getting Enchanted Arms at the end of the month. Oblivion I'm still on the fence about.

John Davison from 1UP gave it a 7.4 out of 10. Davison says that Motorstorm has the best graphics the PS3 can offer to date. He also says the A.I. is downright unforgiving, making the gameplay challenging and the learning curve VERY steep. What lacks in Motorstorm is content. The U.S retail version offers only a single player mode and online multiplayer - no splitscreen mode.

Alex Navarro of Gamespot.com gave Motorstorm a 7.9 out of 10 with similar comments. According to Navarro, Motorstorm offers only 8 tracks! EIGHT! "...in which you can unlock within the first hour of gameplay".

I won't be picking up Motorstorm. It's not worth $59.99. I'll just download the free demo on Playstation Network.

didn't get good reviews? This game has been getting high 7's, 8's, 9's and even 10! the lack of 2-player split screen is what brought it down slightly.

BTW: I'm difinitely buying this game!!

No no, you misread me I meant that Enchanted Arms didn't get that good of reviews.

Might want to expand the list of mags you read, your current list seems to be in the minority and looks like they missed the boat on this one..who cares how many you can unlock in how long..the question is are they FUN. And that seems to be a universal yes. Too bad your going to miss it.

I've had the import since 12/1, and while it is a fun game, I won't be buying the US version just for online play. Not with God of War II, GRAW 2 and a whole lot of Blu-Ray titles also coming out within the next 2 weeks.
