Default Panasonic Viera has a PIXEL OUT!

I just bought this beast 3 days ago..i have done a couple of threads before about this TV. I have been watching some Blu Rays/THX mode on it and if the 4:3 is in effect i strech the picture so there is no sidebars. I turned it on this morning and noticed that there is a Pixel that is out, it goes in and out, it s on the bottem left corner of the set. CC is giving me a new one on Tuesday so I hope that will be in better shape. anybody know what happen or is it just my luck..lol?

I got it switched out thank god..It was a PIXEL on the botten left of the screen..at 1st I thought it was something on the glass, then noticed it when i put in a BLU RAY..it was flickering back and forth like going in and out..then a day later straight black dead pixel...I was trying to "Break in' the Panny but not putting up with a dead pixel..the one they gave me now is a little noisy side..The fan or something makes a sound that u can barley here but still..should i switch this one..lol

Default Panasonic pixels

Yes! get rid of it. I'm on my third Panny and they all had failed or stuck pixels within a month of purchase. Nice to look at on the outside but as far as I'm concerned...unreliable.

this is my old thread....Now I got my 2 second Panny and now ...Im still seeing from after a week now..A bad IR/Burn in...from playing on GAMEMODE my 360 w/COD4..There has been some very nice people helping me through this..all of them say it will go away ..in time i guess..but i have had this set for 2 1/2 months now and only played COD4 for like mayve an hour a night. I called CC..its weird because when i bought htis Panny and the Warrenety CC said even to this day that they cover BURN IN..BUT alot of people have told me thats not true..but if you call up the TAMPA, FL CC off N. Dale Mabry Hwy and ask to talk to a manager they will tell u its COVERED...CC ordered a part from me..the part that moves all your PIXELS AROUND..so we will see..The IR/Burn In has gotten better..but you can deff still see it when the screen is on a white or gray.

No offense - but you are failed and stuck. Please educate yourself some so that you will see what a fool you are looking like right now.

no need to change this one out again dude! the fans are there for a reason and they need to do their job. be happy with the tv. I have a feeling that you are starting to notice things that are not issues because of the bad experience you had with an earlier set

Damn, I hope this stuff doesn't start happening to my Panny ,So far I love mine ,I will feel alot better once the breaking in period is done,I am in love with the pq,it looks so natural compared to the 2 lcds I had before it,I think people just buy lcds because of how bright they are in the showroom,my tv's blacks are black unlike the greyish black of an lcd.I now tell anybody who will listen about buying a plasma over an lcd sorry to hear you are having so many problems with your tv man
