Default My Box has Fishburn

On Amazon my Box has The Ultimate Matrix Collection on BD in it for $71.20 (45-percent off). Is this a worthwhile deal??? I love Lawrence Fishburn and I am considering getting this Matrix Collection on BD while it is still in my Box I think it only lasts one day). Does anyone think it will go down lower?

Should I get it?

I was thoroughly questioning what the message was going to say myself.

eh, it's Nycomet, what do you expect. I just started ignoring any threads (or at least stop taking remotely seriously) that Nycomet starts.

The cheapest I see this going down to it will be $89.99 - 20% (semi-annual DeepDiscount sale in November) = $72.99 so yeah, this is definitely a good deal. Although I just snagged this myself for $65 from another member

you could just get it from warner with the 30% off code with another title. That would bring it down to $69.99 and free shipping.

Taxes kill this offer though. That's at least $5 in taxes here in TX.

you could look on ebay for one around $75 with the 30% cash back with live.com. that was a pretty good deal for me.

Default Patience is a Virtue...AND GOOD SENSE.

WAIT!!! Someplace will have it for $50 or less in less than a few months. Movies this old never hold their value for long.

You'll feel foolish paying for a premium now because you had to have the product when it just came out. In less a week or two, matrix trilogy has already droped to $75 and under from the original $89.95. Imagine what you'll find in another month or two.

Patience is more than virtue...it's good financial sense.

Default Wait

Honestly, these movies shouldn't be no more than $15 a piece or $45 total. Keep the extras. Personall, I don't want extras. Just wait. I want the matrix films too.

Just keep an eye out. Someone will have a sale or price error or more competition will force prices downward. It happened once, it will happen again. Just a matter of when.

I got my copy for $60.93 from Warner. I watched the Matrix last night and it is worth the money I paid for the set. Just amazing, it was like I was seeing it for the first time.

see i want to to get it at this price from warner but i don't want to have to buy the 2 other movies required to use the 30% code. it makes the deal worthless to me.

You only had to buy one other movie to use the code.

+1

When these movies originally came to DVD I just rented them once and then waited until they dropped to $5 before I bought them. This will eventually drop (although $15 is much more realistic for Blu-ray). The major block buster catalog titles always do.

I pre-ordered The Dark Knight, it was a movie I was going to buy anyways so it seemed like a good idea. Plus The Matrix Trilogy arrived on Monday, so I definetely didn't have to wait till after the street date

Amazon will eventually have this for 50% off soon. So around $60. I forsee it being a gold box deal of the day for around $50 by the end of the year.
