Nice..... I prefer different colors anyway. Makes it easier to remember which cable goes to which component.

For all of the people who only use "higher end" HDMI cables, I challenge you to pay a whopping $2.00 to attempt to see any difference whatsoever with a Monoprice cable and a Monster cable. I'm sure you'll be able to spare a couple bucks, right?

Why oh why did you make two identical threads???

I guess you figured having two would be twice as good?

Amen brother...these monoprice cable are sick!!!

The build quality is insane.

I have a cousin who isn't going to buy into Blu-ray until "they AT LEAST start making them 1080p" (I know ) who recently e-mailed me about the importance of a good, solid, well made cable "and that sometimes costs money"

So he went on to tell me how monster is overrated and doesn't meet "his spec" (this never gets old by the way) so he went and found this company out of L.A. who makes cables by hand and he "got a good one" for only $150.00

I really REALLY wish we had a knee slapper smilie, because I will always get a kick out of this.

^^^ WOW, next time just tell him you found the best cable company ever. I'll buy a couple of monoprice cables to sell him for that price and we'll split the profit. LOL

Default specs

I am thinking of buying it. I was looking at the specs, how important is an hdmi cable to NOT have a net jacket, equalizer, and not be category 2 certified?

It's 6 foot long so extra insulation and certifications don't mean that much.

Ugh - you could have made a good scheme off of that. Copyright, patent, and sell to Monster!
