Though I loved the book, I think National Treasure is a better movie than The Da Vinci Code. It was more exciting though very far out in its puzzles/solutions.

I thought both the National Treasures were very well done adventure movies that you don't tend to see anymore, these days it is all about shooting people

This is one of those movies (like Pitch Black) that I own and I watch, but I don't really know why I like it.

Pitch Black is more visual for me, but this one I still don't get.

It really isn't THAT good and you are absolutely right...no intensity.

Maybe I'm just marking out for Diane Kreuger??

Who knows, but I get you.

Excellent PQ/AQ though.

It's a movie I can have playing in the background while doing other things. A very family friendly movie, something to view on a Saturday afternoon during a winter storm.

It was an alright story to start, but it was way too Disney. Hated it and Nicholas Cage is my least favorite actor. 3/10

I liked National Treasure, but didn't really like National Treasure 2. Thought it moved from puzzle to puzzle way too quickly, there didn't seem to be any thought by the characters to figure it out. Almost as if they were following a map, point by point, not spontaneous at all.

I really disliked DaVinci code, read the book and the movie left ALOT out. If I had not read the book I wouldn't have known they left so much out and it would have been harder to follow.

P.S. I hope they do a much better job with Angels and Demons.

if you didnt really like the first one, definitely beware of the second one! the one event that sets the whole plot in motion make absolutely NO SENSE! if you like to see realism in movies like i do, youre gonna have a real problem with NT2
