Default Which box set do you find to have the best and worst packaging?

For me it would obviously be the bourne trilogy, followed by woodstock ( the box that it comes in is great.)

for worst it has to be the pirates trilogy. the box was made way too small

BEST:
Fringe: season 1 (not really a box set, but love everything about the packaging / design)
LOST: season 5 Dharma Initiation Kit
The Bourne trilogy
Rome: the complete series
Band of Brothers

i guess i don't really have a "worst" for packaging. maybe Close Encounters of the Third Kind because if you lose the book, then the outer case is too big for the smaller one. but that's a minor complaint for a great design package.

I'd have to say the Karate Kid (I and II) box set as they are so hard to get out. I have to really shake them to get a movie out.

Yeah, that Woodstock is great and I also really like the Blade Runner Briefcase, I'm not sure which I think is the worst, .................I guess it would be the die hard & Batman anthologies because im not a fan of slim cases.

Band of Brothers is the clear number one. Just immaculate box set.

The packaging for "The Omen Collection" is terrible...just a cheap, flimsy mess.

The worst packaging for me is DVD-sized steelbooks for blu-ray releases.

I was also disappointed in the case used for the GODFATHER collection, surely it was deserving of something a bit more fancy

Worst: Lord of the rings.
I have already gotten new cases and printed custom artwork to swap them out. Much happier.

I Am Legend, and Forrest Gump. They are both okay. I wish it had more.

Wizard of Oz is outstanding IMO.

It definitely isn't. What made it so bad is how you had to remove the discs from the holders. Over time it would put marks on the disc. Other than that, the housing of the BSG set was really nice!

It's not that bad. It's seperated out by season and by disc so I don't see how you could confuse it. More people complained about the disc placement than anything else. The packaging itself is nice I think.

Worst that I own are the original BSG complete series, and The Omen Collection. I dislike both because they don't have plastic hubs for the discs - BSG's discs slide in and out of sleeves (YUCK!), and The Omen's sit on these foam nobs. Neither made me feel the disc would remain scratchfree longterm, and both were replaced with custom packaging.

Best - the Bourne trilogy is really nice, and I'm fond of the Ultimate Matrix Collection as well. The fold-out digipaks for the original Dirty Harry collection are beautiful - too bad the box is DVD-sized, and filled with useless trinkets. I still like it for the most part though.

X-Men trilogy box set if it can be called that way is just horrible.

I like the Ultimate Matrix collection box set, although I am sure that there are many people out there that dont like it.

I like it because each disc has its own box. Just like the packaging Paramount went with for the Star Trek box sets.

I don't own it but I've heard repeatedly that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Box set is pretty crappy.
