Default Polk on eBay?

Anyone ever purchased speakers from Polk's eBay store?

Seriously considering picking up a pair of Monitor 60s, a CS1 center and a set of Monitor 30s for the rears. I love the cherry and maple casings. Would match my living room very nicely.

How do you like the Monitor 30s for surrounds? I was thinking of those, or getting another set of 50s as surrounds and not have to worry about a stand.

BTW, love the avatar.

Get the Monitor 60's for basically the same price as the 50's here.

I've found that getting them on ebay at other stores using Buy It Now + live.com's cashback ends up getting you brand new speakers (not refurbs) quicker and cheaper than getting them from Polk Audio's outlet. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them if I found the right price however.

My fronts and rears came from ebay retailers.

Ok so I think this is my best option (living in Toronto, Canada). If I get the Polk 60 (pair) & CS1 I can get it for $279.99 (Polk 60 pair) + 62.13 (shipping) + $89.99 (CS1) + 27.55 (shipping) = 459.66 (562.95 CDN) + TAX. HHMMMM!?!?!?

If you can swing it... definitely get towers for your surrounds. I lucked up on some Klipsch F1's to match the F2's I have in the front, and the sound is MUCH better than the S1 surrounds I was using. There's a more even sound, plus the extra bass coming from the back of the room is nice.

Polk's eBay store is great. I just got some refurbished Monitor 50s from them. They had very fast shipping. I bought on the 5th and received an email that they shipped on the 6th. They delivered on the 11th and were in perfect condition and sound great.

How are you enjoying the 50s? I'm thinking of grabbing a pair from them, for my living room.

They are great. Right now I don't have a sub, so I rely on the 50s for bass and they do a decent enough job. I'm currently deciding on whether or not I should get a subwoofer (I live in an apartment). I was previously using my 401s as my fronts, now I have my m50s in the front and my 401s for my surrounds and it sounds great. I do find at times I am lacking just a little bass. Either way I'm happy with my purchase.
