Default Blu-ray catching on faster than we thought!

I don't know if anyone saw this, but highdefdigest updated the story about Casino Royale shipping 100k units.

'Air Force One' was first released eleven months after the launch of DVD, but it took that disc another nine to eleven months to reach the 100,000 unit milestone. We regret the error and have corrected the story below.

http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/news..._(UPDATED)/544

It was updated on March 30th. This is great news, as it shows Blu-ray is catching on even faster than SD DVD; and many people have said that the consumer won't want to move past that now, but it seems they will faster than they gave up VHS.

Sorry if this has already been posted, I searched for Casino Royale and Air Force One but found nothing.

It was posted right on the home page. But still, its definately good news. With some other good titles coming out within the next few months, like Pirates, Blu-ray will definately own!

Well, that story is the same as the highdefdigest.com one before it was updated. The one on the front here says Air Force One reached the same point 11 months after DVD's debut, when in fact it was released at that point and didn't ship 100k copies for another 9-11 months. so all in all, it took up to twice the time (22 months) to do what CR did.

I agree. I did see clips of Pirates on the King Arthur Disc and if the movie looks as good as those previews, then we are in for a real treat. I suspect this will be among the top Blu-ray discs for Picture quality
